It's Boulder's Open Studio time! I visited several artists on Sunday, and finally bought myself a Lael. (She is an artist that Rob's family loves, and Rosa too!)

On Sunday I got out for a short bit to visit Lyons, Colorado and their Lyons Studio Tour event. My friend Melissa, who makes AMAZING stained glass pieces, was part of the tour. I purchased one of her glass peace signs, and felt good that a portion of the proceeds is supporting the horrendous oil spill clean-up efforts. I also was excited to discover the work of a potter named Priscilla Cohan, and I purchased a whimsical wall piece from her. I hope to visit more of the artists next year!
