I've been playing with my little PowerShot A1000 camera, which is a small, light point-and-shoot Canon. I had it for a couple years, and didn't become a fan of it until I brought it to Phish Telluride last summer. I like using a super high ISO and getting gritty, grainy non-flash photos with it. And it is so, so light compared to the camera/lenses I normally lug around.

I am now the proud owner of my dream digital camera, and I had some fun testing it out tonight. It seems to do very well in low light, as promised. And suddenly my 50mm lens is 50 mm! I can fill the frame with more stuff! I can't wait to get out there with it. YES!!!
