Since I was too lazy to get up at 5:30 to head up to Summit County for a ski day (and then was a bit bummed after reading the New York Times Travel Section with its skiing focus!), I just had to get outside under the Colorado blue skies. It was a little cool**, but we quickly warmed up hiking in the South Saint Vrain Canyon with the dogs. They got to spend most of the hike off-leash, and as always, it is fun to watch them run free!
**Cool being just about 40 degrees. So far this winter, the average weather for the Front Range is 50s and Colorado blue skies. I don't even bring a winter coat to work every day. Unheard of!
